22 Nov 1980: Two members from Infantry School were killed in a private motor vehicle accident between George and the Wilderness while they were on a weekend pass. The casualties were:
22 Nov 1988: 83746461HG Rifleman Felokwakhe Andreas Magagula from 121 Battalion died in the King Edward VIII Hospital from injuries received when his Buffel Troop Carrier overturned while on an operational patrol at Kwa Ngwanase. He was 28.
22 Nov 1990: 87759379HG Lance Corporal Sibusiso Dlomo from Natal Command was killed in a military vehicle accident in Durban. He was 30.
22 Nov 1991: 88213863BG Airman Martin Jacobsz from the Air Force Gymnasium was killed in a private motor vehicle accident after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with another vehicle on the Delmas to Pretoria Road. He was 19.
1975 – WO2 Sayino Runyowa TSHUMA, 1st Bn, RAR, was murdered by CTs, Mfungo Hills, Nemangwe, Gokwe, at the age of 37.
1976 – FA Barend Jacobus MYNHARDT, ADF, Intaf, died from gunshot wounds received in an ambush in Bikita TTL, Op Repulse. He was 54 years old.
1977 – DSA Henry MPOFU, attchd SchInf, Intaf, was murdered by CTS
1978 – DSAs Amos DUBE (25), Benzenie NYATI (36), Buyisa TSHUMA (37) and Cpl Teddy TSHUMA (29), were all reported in the Rhodesia Herald as having died, but no information as to the circumstances was given.
1978 – Gd Ephraim NGOSHI, PV Prtn Group, GF, was murdered by terrorists, aged 21 years.
1979 – Rfn James Stewart KERR and L/Cpl Gideon MUVANGANI, both of Coy, 2nd Bn, RR, died from gunshot wounds received in a contact.
1979 – Spr Vincent BAZARA BCR, 7 Sqn, RhE, died from shrapnel wounds in action.
1979 –L/Cpl James Arnold DOUGLAS, 1st Bn, RDR, died on active service aged 24 years (b. 23 May 1955).
1979 – Pte Simangaliso NGULUBE, 3rd Maint, GSC, Army HQ, died from gunshot wounds received in a CT action.
1979 – Cst Taurayi Jackson SITHOLE, SU, BSAP, was killed in a CT action in the Op Grapple area, at the age of 23.
1979 – Smn Mark VON LICHTENSTEIN, RhSigs, died on active service.
1979 – Pte Peter MAGONDA, 2nd Bn, RAR, died from gunshot wounds received in a CT action.
1979 – Pte Simon SITHOLE, 8th Bn, RR, was killed in a CT action.
