This e-book is not a research document. This is the story of Bravo Company and the Anti-Tank Platoon that served in 1987 at Omuthiya. We wrote the story as a tribute to a special group of people: BRAVO COMPANY AND ANTI-TANK PLATOON, 61 MECHANISED BATTALION GROUP, 1987. These warriors did not hesitate to go the extra mile. They were young, in the prime of their lives. They were between the ages of 17 and 24. Some of them were already married and had started their own families. They spoke English and Afrikaans. Some were not required to serve: Belgians, Portuguese and Greeks. They served because they believed that it was the honorable thing to do.
