Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity. And so we ask ourselves: will our actions echo across the centuries? Will strangers hear our names long after we are gone, and wonder who we were, how bravely we fought, how fiercely we loved?

The book is about the authors experiences whilst serving in the 31 Bn Recce Wing between 1984 and 1987

Softcover, A5, 215 pages. First published: March 2017

Interesting read

The book gives an interesting insight into a part of the border war that has been neglected, that of the reconnaissance wing of the Bushman battalion.
The author, who spent some time with the unit, has first-hand experience and it is quite evident.
However, like many self-published books, the work could have been better edited for grammar and spelling and one hopes that the author would go to the effort in subsequent editions of the book.
All an all an entertaining read and recommended for anyone interested in the history of this unique unit.
